Meet The Team Behind Your Teacher's Pet Creature

So here we are, a writer, a teacher and two teeny tiny product testers. That’s us, the small family team behind creating Your Teacher’s Pet Creature.

I’ll introduce myself first. I’m Jonathon and given that I’m writing this blog series you’ve probably guessed that I’m the writer. I fell in love with reading as a child, I still remember in year four when I read so many books, they had to create a whole new certificate just for me. I grew up passionate about writing and went on to study Creative Writing at Curtin University of Technology in Perth.

Maria, however, is the true brains behind Your Teacher’s Pet Creature. She got her Bachelor of Education specialising in Early Childhood Studies from Edith Cowan University. She’s a passionate teacher and an amazing mother. She’s spent the last 7 years teaching Early Childhood in both schools and early learning centres. It’s her training and practice that has allowed us to refine this project into what we hope will be a much-loved finished product.

Finally, we have Nico and Auriana. Their job is to cuddle the plush toys and let us know which ones they like best. It might sound like a small job, but they love every minute of it.
